Effective Date: August 16, 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services provided by Caro Detail Group Inc., doing business as “Caro Detail (& Ceramic Coating)” (the “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), to any individual or entity that books, requests, or receives services from us (the “Customer,” “you,” or “your”). By booking an appointment, submitting a deposit, or otherwise engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not book services with us.
We specialize in interior and exterior detailing, paint correction, and ceramic coating. The specific scope of work for any appointment is the scope agreed upon at booking or at check-in, and does not include any service, area, or treatment not expressly included in your quote or invoice.
We provide services to customers located in Statesville, Troutman, Mooresville, Davidson, Cornelius, Huntersville, Charlotte, Concord, and Kannapolis, North Carolina. We reserve the right to decline or reschedule service requests outside our standard service area, or to apply an additional travel fee, which will be disclosed to you before booking.
We reserve appointment times specifically for you, which means a late cancellation directly affects our ability to serve other customers. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
Cancellations within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment
If you cancel your appointment within 48 hours of the scheduled date and time, your deposit is forfeited and will not be applied to any future appointment.
Cancellations more than 48 hours before your scheduled appointment
If you notify us more than 48 hours before your scheduled appointment, your original deposit will be applied to your rescheduled appointment. Because rescheduling opens up your original time slot to other customers, a new appointment requires an additional deposit in the same amount as your original deposit to confirm the new date. This second deposit is not an extra charge on top of your total service cost — it is credited toward your final invoice the same as any other deposit. It simply reflects the added commitment needed to hold a new slot after a prior cancellation.
No-shows
Failure to be present, or to make the vehicle and property reasonably accessible, at the scheduled appointment time and location without prior notice will be treated as a cancellation within 48 hours, and the deposit will be forfeited.
Certain services we provide cannot be performed safely or to our quality standards in rain, freezing temperatures, high winds, or other adverse weather. If we determine, in our reasonable judgment, that weather conditions will prevent us from performing your service safely or properly, we will contact you to reschedule at no cost to you. Weather-related rescheduling — whether initiated by us or by you when a credible forecast makes safe or effective service impossible on your scheduled date — is not subject to the 48-hour cancellation policy in Section 4. In these cases, your original deposit carries forward in full to your rescheduled appointment, and no additional deposit is required. This weather exception applies to genuine weather-driven rescheduling and does not apply to cancellations for other reasons that happen to occur near a forecasted weather event.
All services are provided on a final-sale basis. We do not offer refunds for completed services. This policy exists alongside our Satisfaction Guarantees described in Section 7 below, which are the exclusive remedy for any concerns about the quality of service provided.
For interior and exterior detailing services (excluding paint correction and ceramic coating), we guarantee your satisfaction at the time of service. Before we leave your home or you leave our shop, we will walk through the completed work with you and address any concerns on the spot. Because satisfaction is confirmed and accepted at checkout, we do not offer redos, corrections, or refunds after you have approved the completed work and left the appointment, except where we determine that our technician failed to complete an item within the agreed scope of work. Any concerns must be raised during the final walkthrough, before the technician departs.
For paint correction and ceramic coating services, we hold ourselves to a higher standard. As with our standard guarantee, we will walk through the completed work with you before we leave to confirm you are satisfied. In the rare case that we are unable to achieve the agreed-upon result — due to factors such as the vehicle’s paint condition, prior damage, or prior improper repair work that prevents the intended outcome — we are not interested in keeping your money. In that specific circumstance, we will refund everything you paid for that service and send you an additional $50 for your time.
This 110% guarantee is subject to the following conditions, and is intended to address genuine cases where we cannot deliver the agreed result — not a change of mind after satisfactory work has been performed:
We are not responsible for any items lost, damaged, or missing from your vehicle. All personal items, valuables, and loose belongings should be removed from the vehicle before your appointment. If items are left in the vehicle, we may decline to service the affected area, or may charge an item removal fee, which will be disclosed to you before the work is performed.
Prior to beginning service, we may document the vehicle’s condition, including any pre-existing damage, wear, or defects. By booking service, you acknowledge that detailing, paint correction, and ceramic coating services carry inherent risk with vehicles that have pre-existing damage, prior poor-quality repairs, aftermarket modifications, or degraded factory finishes, and that such conditions may affect the outcome of our services or the applicability of the guarantees in Section 7.
For mobile appointments, you agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the vehicle and, where applicable, to water and power sources needed to complete the service. If access is not reasonably available at the scheduled time, we may need to reschedule your appointment, and the cancellation terms in Section 4 may apply.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to our services — whether based in contract, negligence, or any other legal theory — is limited to the amount you paid to us for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, diminished value, or loss of time.
By providing your phone number and email address, you consent to be contacted by us regarding scheduling, service updates, invoices, and — where you have separately opted in — promotional communications, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You may opt out of promotional communications at any time; opting out of marketing does not affect service-related communications necessary to fulfill your appointment.
We may photograph or video vehicles before, during, and after service for quality assurance, training, and marketing purposes (such as our website, social media, and advertising). We will not include identifying information such as your name, license plate, or address without your permission. If you prefer that images of your vehicle not be used for marketing, notify us in writing before your appointment and we will honor that request.
We reserve the right to refuse, decline, or discontinue service at our discretion, including in cases involving unsafe conditions, abusive conduct, undisclosed pre-existing damage discovered mid-service, or vehicles in a condition materially different from what was represented at booking. In such cases, deposits may be forfeited or prorated based on work already performed, at our discretion.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Iredell County, North Carolina, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective Date” above reflects the most recent revision. Continued booking or use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with any applicable service agreement, invoice, or quote provided to you, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding our services, and supersede any prior understandings or agreements, whether written or oral.
